Yehudah
Katz - Lead vocals, acoustic guitar
A student of Reb Shlomo Carlebach, Yehudah Katz performed with his teacher around
the world. Yehuda grew up in a traditional Jewish home but had left religion
for many years. During that time he grew close to The Grateful Dead and many
faithful "Dead-heads". He claims that it was at a Dead concert that
he had his first open experience with Godliness, reflected through the performance
of lead guitarist Jerry Garcia. This opened the door for him to be connected
with Reb Shlomo. Katz made Aliyah with his family in 1993.

from 2000, "A New Song", on GalPaz Records, is a combination of these
different styles. Eliezer has performed all over the globe. Eight years ago
he had the opportunity to meet and perform with Rav Shlomo Carlebach. This greatly
contributed to his Aliya to Israel and re-Jew-venation. Eliezer has been living

(Mt. Zion) and stuck his head into the court yard of the Diaspora Yeshiva. At
